01 The brief
What the owner needs
“Corner coffee house. Regulars at 6:30 AM, commuters at 8. Wants the menu on every table, opening hours impossible to miss, and an order-ahead button.”
- Menu with prices
- Hours at the top
- Order ahead
- QR menu on tables
In a real project, this comes from what is already public about the business plus a short form. No meeting needed.
02 Three directions
Same words, three feels.
The owner sees all three side by side, on desktop and phone, before choosing. Each uses a color set from our catalog for this trade.
03 The pick
Why this one
Motion fits a morning place: the Open sign turns and a "Today" board flips once. Diner Mint keeps it bright and calm; the red is only for buttons.
- Background
#E9F3F1 - Text
#1C1C1C - Accent
#C81E35 - Second
#DA939C
Palette: Diner Mint (P29). Every text and button pair is checked for readable contrast.
04 The result
A site that works
- A split-flap "Today" board that flips once
- The full menu with tabs, the same list as the table QR menu
- Hours, map and a call button at the bottom
